Gifted Mr Ollivanders

My wand: Sycamore and Dragon, Eleven and Three Quarter inches, Surprisingly Swishy

Wood: Sycamore
The sycamore makes a questing wand, eager for new experience and losing brilliance if engaged in mundane activities. It is a quirk of these handsome wands that they may combust if allowed to become ‘bored,’ and many witches and wizards, settling down into middle age, are disconcerted to find their trusty wand bursting into flame in their hand as they ask it, one more time, to fetch their slippers. As may be deduced, the sycamore’s ideal owner is  curious, vital and adventurous, and when paired with such an owner, it demonstrates a capacity to learn and adapt that earns it a rightful place among the world's most highly-prized wand woods.

Wand Core: Dragon

As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner.
The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.

I guess my wand does explain my lack of enthusiasm towards Pottermore right now. It's the truth that I tend to get bored pretty easily if I keep doing the same thing over and over again.  In Pottermore, if I don't brew potions (which is hard!), then I'll practice my spells (the Wizard's Duel is still under maintenance!!). Sometimes, I go to Diagon Alley just to look around (sadly Quality Quidditch Supplies and Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour are still not opened to public yet,  I'd love to shop in those shops, and if I have enough Galleons, of course.) Hmmm. What else? I think that's basically it.  Every time I log in to my Pottermore's account, those are the main things I'll do. Every single time. And it's getting boring! I don't tolerate well with routines.  I need challenges, I want adventure, I need something new to explore on. Potions proved to be a challenge, and even though I'm still suck at it, the challenge is not there anymore.
I pity my wand, and myself of course. We are both beyond bored. And to Mr Ollivanders, you've paired me well with my wand. I like my wand :)
Oh yeah, I'm in Gryffindor btw. If any of you here is in Pottermore, do tell. Lets become friends :)
